2018 Summer Volunteers (entering grades 8 & up, adults also welcome to apply)
If you’re friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children, apply to become a Summer Volunteer at the Glenview Public Library! Summer Volunteers will assist children and their grownups with signing up and logging their reading for the Summer Reading Program. Volunteers will also prep materials and facilitate activities for children within the Youth Services Department. The Summer Volunteer Programs runs from June 10 through August 12. Apply here. You will be notified by email within a week of applying about whether or not you have been selected to join the Summer Volunteer Program.

High School volunteers needed to assist children in grades 1-8 with homework, reading, and math skills practice.
High School volunteers to the (homework) rescue. Thirty minute sessions for homework, reading, and math skills provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Children may be grouped by subject and grade level.
