Teachers and caregivers of preschoolers can create a storytime or explore a topic with these “one-stop shop” kits. Each themed kit comes with an activity guide, four to six books, multimedia, and puppets or flannelboards chosen by our Youth Services librarians to promote the development of early literacy skills.
Guides come with three themed topical activities to do with your preschooler or classroom. Rhymes, songs, and a list of more recommended books chosen by Youth Services librarians are also included.

DIY Kits for Book Discussion Groups – Perfect for established book clubs, informal discussion groups, or just a group of friends who want to share ideas and lively conversation. Book Club in a Bag provides the tools your group needs for a great discussion in one easy kit. Titles have been carefully selected to meet a full range of literary interests.
Each Kit Contains:
- 10 copies of the title
- Book discussion guides with questions

These multimedia kits are designed to help caregivers stimulate and entertain loved ones living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Embark on an imaginary trip to another country using books, music, props, folktales, and DVDs to provide new ways to encourage conversation and reminisce.
Kits can be used one-on-one or in small groups. Funding provided by a grant from AgeOptions.
