Glenview Public Library partners with The Glen Town Center, WICKED, Kohl Children’s Museum and the Glenview Park District to bring you green-themed events for the whole family. Celebrate Earth Day everyday with one month of free activities and events. Pick up a GREEN FOR GOOD event

Help us celebrate poetry by submitting your original work. Winners will be selected from grades 1-2, grades 3-4, grades 5-6, and grades 7-8. Top poems will be recognized at a special Award Ceremony during our POETRY MONTH CELEBRATION EVENT on April 26th. Official rules

STAR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
If you are entering grades 8 and up, we need your help this summer! Listen to book reports and assist children in playing the summer reading game. One training session is required, and we ask that volunteers complete a total of 8 hours of service during
the 8-week reading program. Volunteers may register beginning April 1st at the Youth Services desk. Adult volunteers are welcome, too. Training sessions will be held June 2, 3, 4, and 6 at 4-5PM; June 3 at 7-8PM; or Saturday, June 14 at 10-11AM.
