Preschool Teacher Welcome Workshop
Thursday, October 21, 7-8:30PM
Welcome to the new Glenview Public Library. Preschool teachers and aides living or working in Glenview are invited to tea and a tour, followed by a puppet-making session. Master puppeteer Cynthia Von Orthal will guide you in designing a unique rod puppet to use in your classroom. Register online at glenviewpl.org/registration.htm. Registration questions? Salute To Soldiers
Have you said THANK YOU to a soldier today? Write letters or decorate cards and pictures for our troops stationed overseas. Drop off your letters at the Youth Services Desk. The letters are enclosed in care packages sent to soldiers by Operation Support Our Troops Illinois. This is an especially meaningful Veteran’s Day (November 11) gesture.
