Reader's Services

The Readers' Advisors are available at the Reader's Services Desk to help patrons find books and other materials. The Readers' Advisors can also provide reading suggestions, supply book lists, and offer advice on locating book reviews and biographies of authors. Call the Reader's Services Desk at (847)729-7500 ext. 112 for assistance or to have a book set aside for you.

Each day, Monday through Friday, you receive a 5-minute excerpt of a book. If you enjoy the selections, come to the Library and check out the book. Choose one or all of the following book clubs: Audio, Business, Fiction, Horror, Mystery, Nonfiction, Pre-Pub, Science Fiction/Fantasy, and Teen.
