As part of its continuing effort to support library programs, Friends of the Glenview Public Library operates an onsite Used Book Store (UBS). With a few shelves in the Lobby, and our primary space on the Mezzanine, we provide donated books (and other media materials) for sale during regular Library hours. A small army of volunteers receives donations, sorts materials and staffs our sales desk. Following are our standard prices (unless otherwise marked):

Most of you commuters know that UBS volunteers have been bringing used paperback books to the train station. We hope they will help spread the word about our efforts and encourage more people to come and visit.

Twice each year, the UBS holds a used book sale. Generally, books are available for half of our usual low prices. The next sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 8 through Sunday, May 16, 2010, during regular library hours.
