Summer Reading Program For Teens

summer reading program

Stop by the Reader Services Desk any time through the end of July to sign up for Summer Reading. You will receive a folder with themed book recommendations and a treat for joining the Summer Reading Challenge.

The More You Read, the More You Win!

Complete five steps by reading books or magazines, watching movies, listening to music CDs, or attending a teen program between June 8–July 28. At least two steps must be books—fiction or nonfiction print, audiobooks or eBooks. Use our booklists for suggestions or choose your own titles.

Bring your log to the Reader Services Desk to report what you’ve read and receive an entry for the weekly prize drawing for each completed step. Finish your first five steps and receive a tasty treat.

For every five steps completed, you will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing for a travel case packed with gift certificates and other surprises.

Books read for Glenbrook South's summer reading program, South Reads, count toward your entries for the Glenview Public Library Summer Reading Program.
