My Librarydv
MyLibraryDV is a unique on-demand video service created by Recorded Books in partnership with the Glenview Public Library. You can access hundreds of hours DVD-quality programming on topics such as cooking, travel, and health as well as classic movies and more!

                  

Getting Started

• Click on the MyLibraryDV logo at the top of the page.
• Install the download manager. This is a one-time requirement that takes 2-4 minutes.
• Choose your program.
• Follow the instructions to log on. The download manager remembers you even when you close the connection. You will not have to repeat this step as long as you do not sign out.

System Requirements

• A broadband internet connection
• The most current version of your web browser
• Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP
• Flash 9 and Windows Media 9 or higher
• 1 gigabyte of available hard drive space
• The download manager automatically detects and alerts you of any player upgrades necessary and will aid with their installation.

Limitations

• You may have up to 10 downloaded programs at any given time as long as space on your computer’s hard drive is available.
• Each program has a 7-day checkout period after which the item is automatically deleted. The time remaining to watch the program is displayed next to the “Play” icon in your “MyDownloads” play list.
• No early returns are permitted.
• Downloaded videos cannot be transferred to CD or other external devices.
