Our Librarians bring favorite stories to life with puppets, props, and more in the Youth Services Program Room. Registration is required for all Toddlertime, Preschool Storytime, & Little Learners sessions. Preference is given to Glenview Library cardholders during the one-week registration period.

Child must be the appropriate age before the first class.

Beginning with Baby Series • Birth-23-Months

Tickets Required

Develop the foundations for early literacy with guidance from your Librarian.

Space is limited. Tickets will be given out to Glenview Library cardholders each week beginning 30-minutes prior to Storytime and Playtime sessions. One ticket per day; additional ticket if space allows.

Itty Bitty Babies Storytime (pre-walkers)
Wednesdays, April 2, 16 & 30, 9:30-10 AM • Youth Program Room
Learn songs, rhymes, and stories while making new friends.

Little Wigglers Storytime (early walkers to 23-months)
Wednesdays, April 9, 23 & May 7, 9:30-10 AM • Youth Program Room
Moving along with stories, rhymes and songs, and lots of wiggle-time, too.

Mother Goose Playtime (pre-walkers & early walkers to 23-months)
Every Wednesday, April 2-May 7, 10:15-10:45 AM • Youth Program Room
Mother Goose will stop by with a rhyme, and then it’s time to play-play-play!

Baby Signs SIGN, SAY & PLAY • Birth-5 Years

All pre-readers benefit from learning sign language.

Learn as a family in a relaxed, supportive, and entertaining atmosphere. Each class introduces vocabulary, songs, and play activities.

Financial literacy is fundamental to a child’s development. Kathi Quinn will teach kids about saving, spending and giving back. Make a fun craft to take home.

May 3: Monarchs & Milkweed with Master Gardener Alexa • 10:30-11:30 AM

Join Master Gardener Alexa as she leads us in planting milkweed seeds. By July your plants could be feeding caterpillars and helping to ensure the survival of the Monarch butterfly.

Welcome back to the Storybook Trail in Little Bear Garden at Gallery Park, 2001 Patriot Blvd. Walk, skip, jog, or, better yet, bike along the path, to read the perfect springtime story about a very hungry bear waking up from his long winter’s nap. Co-sponsored by the Glenview Park District and the Bike Glenview Initiative.
