Read to the Rhythm
2015 Summer Reading Program

Jazz up your summer with finger-snapping, toe-tapping fun, prizes…and reading, of course. Nearly 3,000 readers of all ages join the summer reading excitement each year. Kids register in the Youth Services area. Adults and Teens register at the Reader Services Desk. Through August 2. Glenview Library cardholders only. 2015 Summer Reading Program details.

StoryMob!

Saturday, July 18, 10:30 AM-Noon
A children’s book (Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak), a flash mob, a parade, and a picnic = StoryMob! Come in costume, bring props, and your outdoor voices. Meet at The Book Market at Hangar One, 10:30 AM, for story rehearsal (2651 Navy Blvd.). Parade through The Glen Town Center to Little Bear Garden (2001 Patriot Blvd.) where we will create a StoryMob! Pack a picnic lunch. Dessert provided by Heinen’s Grocery Store. Co-sponsored by The Glen Town Center and the Glenview Park District. Register here beginning July 3.

Pop the corn, sit back, and relax. With hundreds of movie titles to select from, you can now check out up to five movies per month FREE with your Glenview Library card.
