Illinois Student Assistance Commission Representative Selina Spencer will review the basics of creating a polished resume. Using the techniques discussed, participants will also have the opportunity to compile their own resume.

Citizens Utility Board (CUB) staff will review your telephone, electric, and natural gas bills to recommend ways for you to cut costs. Please allow for wait time while CUB staff is helping other patrons.

Gardening with Money Smarts

Whether you live in a home or apartment, your Village has experts to help tackle spring landscaping with FREE professional advice. Robyn Flakne, Village of Glenview Natural Resources Manager, and Fred Gullen, retired Superintendent of the Glenview Park Services, will discuss the benefits of the Village’s Rain Garden/Rain Barrel program, suggest replacements for trees felled by the deadly ash borer, and demonstrate a two-season container. You can also ask the experts about a problem—just bring a photo or small piece of plant material.
