Read books at home and earn badges to sew on your backpacks, jackets, library bag or caps!

The Books & Badges program is open to children ages 2 through grade 8. Participants must be Glenview residents or attend a Glenview school.

To earn badges:

• Register with a librarian at the Youth Services desk.
• Choose the badge you want to work towards and pick up your reading log. Students may read library books or books from home to meet the requirements for their badge. Parents should initial the log after each book is completed.
• When the required number of books is read, bring your log in to the library to collect your badge.

The program begins the week following Labor Day and ends the Saturday before Memorial Day. Children who do not complete their log by Memorial Day should hold any incomplete folders until the program resumes in the Fall.
